After completing her medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, she received her specialization training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ankara Dr. Zekai Tahir Burak Training and Research Hospital. Following her compulsory service in Kurtalan district of Siirt, she was appointed as an Assistant Professor at Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her subspecialty training in Assisted Reproductive Technologies (IVF) at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. She also started a PhD program in Molecular Biology and Genetics at Namık Kemal University.
In 2016, she was awarded the title of Associate Professor. During her 8-year academic career, she served in various administrative positions within the Faculty of Medicine, including Deputy Head of Department, memberships and vice chairmanships of education commissions, and other institutional boards and commissions. She has been a member of university ethics committees (both interventional and non-interventional) since their establishment.
She played a significant role in establishing the clinic as a regional center of excellence for advanced laparoscopic surgery. She was among the first in the region to perform specialized techniques such as single-port laparoscopic surgeries performed solely through the umbilicus. She received microsurgery training in Istanbul and robotic surgery training at Practicum Robotic School, one of Europe’s leading centers, in Sweden.
She has authored more than 40 scientific articles published in national and international journals, including the world’s most prestigious reproductive medicine journals, as well as book chapters, translations, completed and ongoing Scientific Research Projects, and TÜBİTAK-funded projects. Her scientific interests include reproductive medicine and infertility, IVF treatments, preservation of ovarian reserve, premature menopause, endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, and laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgical techniques.
